If elected, Sandiaga: All religious activities are welcomed to be held at Monas

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta vice governor candidate Sandiaga Uno has said, if voted to lead Jakarta, he will function field of National Monument (Monas) for all religions. "All the activities of religious communities are welcomed to be held at Monas, but we must maintain order and security and not to litter," Sandiaga said in East Jakarta, Thursday (March 16).

He also will do approach using Letter of Credit (LC), a letter of bank guarantee to be disbursed to help carry out the cleanliness and orderliness of post activities. "If they do the activities should also maintain the facility, so don't litter or disturbs order, '' he said.

''Alhamdulilah (Thank God) now Tabligh Akbar (mass prayer) had started to keep the principles of hygiene, safety, and comfort.''

In the second round of the Jakarta election candidate pair Anies Baswedan - Sandiaga Uno entered the second round that will be held on April 2017. They will compete with incumbent candidates Basuki Tjahaja Purnama - Djarot Saiful Hidayat.
