JAKARTA -- State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Minister Erick Thohir strongly condemns the actions of unscrupulous Kimia Farma empployees that operating used equipments for antigen testing at Kualanamu Airport, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.
According to Erick, the actions of these individuals must be rewarded with a very strict punishment. Erick Thohir really could not understand why this very unethical and health hazardous act occurred.
"I myself asked all parties get involved and committed this evil act to be dismissed and strictly prosecuted," said Erick in his written statement, Thursday (29/4).
Erick has asked his staff to carry out a thorough examination. The actions of these elements betrayed the public service profession in the health sector.
In such dire circumstances, Erick regrets that there are still people who take opportunities harming and endangering the lives of others.
Erick reiterated that he had given ultimatums at all levels in every state-owned company to comply with the core values of BUMN, namely Akhlak (Morals).
Akhlak is an acronym for the values of amanah (trustworthy), kompeten (competent), harmoni (harmonious), loyal (loyal), adaptif (adaptive), and kolaboratif (collaborative). The actions at Kualanamu Airport are clearly the opposite of the spirit and values agreed with the BUMN.
The Covid-19 rapid test service at Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, was raided by the police on Tuesday (27/4), following an allegation of counterfeiting the antigen rapid test process.
The police have secured five rapid test officers who are Kimia Farma employees and some evidence of an antigen rapid test kit.
