REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The previous prophets sent before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had extraordinary fearfulness and patience. But his people were very rebellious, one of them the Jews of the time of the Prophet Moses.
Quran expert KH Ahsin Sakho said that the Prophet Muhammad did have his own special privilege of being the only Prophet who can intercede. This privilege is inseparable from the moral turpitude and struggle of the Prophet Muhammad's full proclamation.
Because compared to the previous Prophets, the Prophet (pbuh)'s proclamation was perfect even though he was sent down in the midst of the Jahili community. While examining the journey of the da'wah of the earlier prophets, Kiai Ahsin says, the comparison of the journey of the Prophet Muhammad's da'wah is clearly much higher.
For example, Kiai Ahsin explains, the Prophet Adam could not intercede because he felt that as a result of his error in violating God's commandments in heaven, man was brought down to earth.
Further to the US, he said, after preaching for 950 years, Noah was able to invite only about 80 people who believed his treatise. The same goes for the Prophet Moses, who was eventually disobeyed by the Jews he killed. As for the Prophet Isa, according to him, his journey of revelation was not so perfect because he was almost killed.
As for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), Kiai Ahsin argued that these obstacles could be overcome and that the Prophet successfully established the high value of morality. In particular, the values of the Islamic teachings on morality apply to all mankind until the end of time. Nevertheless, the struggle of the proselytizing of the previous Prophets was often filled with great patience and fearfulness.
