REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (Baznas/national zakat board) RI won the Indonesian CSR Awards 2023 Gold award, organized by Corporate Forum for CSR Development (CFCD). The Indonesian CSR Awards 2023 was received by Baznas RI Vice Chairman Mo Mahdum in Jakarta, Monday (4/12/2023). Accompanying the Head of CSR Division Budi Setiawan.

“I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all Muslims, mustahik, and zakat organizer, Baznas who have joined hands with Baznas, building dreams to achieve the goal of healthy people,” said Baznas RI Vice Chairman Mahdum.

Mahdum said that this award is a recognition from external parties and stakeholders that Baznas deserves to be a leading partner in the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) for all companies. “Baznas as an agency active in conducting humanitarian social action to help the company package its CSR funds on target and fall into the hands of communities in real need,” he said.

Baznas as a CSR distributor continues to work on developing joint programs, including through economic development programs, empowerment of farmers, Baznas social services, Baznas Healthy Homes, Baznas Disaster Response, and integrated environmental rescue programs.
