“This donation I think is the largest for Baznas province and earlier it was said that there will be more later because the mine is still open in East Java,” Noor said.
He explained that Baznas will send aid to the Palestinians in several phases, the first of which is aid in times of emergency, then the next phase for the recovery and reconstruction period.
“Our hope is that this donation can be more focused on the reconstruction of buildings in Palestine,” he explained.
Acting Chairman of Baznas East Java Province Prof. Dr. KH Ali Maschan Moesa, revealed that East Java Baznas still receives and facilitates the distribution of humanitarian aid from Jatim residents to the Palestinian people.
“The distribution of donations this time is the first stage, we are optimistic that at least East Java Baznas can add about Rp 5 Billion more, God willing,” Ali said.
According to him, the development of the situation in Palestinian Gaza is still gripping so that the fundraising will continue.
“As we see the situation there is still a war, and Baznas Center still has not closed the donation,” he said.
