REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Fatayat Nahdlatul Ulama in cooperation with Prudential Sharia institution held activities on Health Services for Pregnant Women and Toddlers and Training in Making Dish Soap.
This event was held at the Building of the Indonesian Government Employees Cooperative Hall (KPRI) Sederajat, Jl Kragilan, Sukamenak, Cikeusal, Serang, Banten Sunday (24/12/2023).
This time the activity was organized as a form of concern of the Head of Fatayat Nahdlatul Ulama Center for the general public especially in the field of health and economics.
Interim Official (PJS) Secretary General of PP Fatayat NU, Kiki Qibtiah, in her remarks that this is a form of PP Fatayat sensitivity to the problems occurring in the lower middle society.
“NU today, is actively conducting programs that are directly in contact with the wider community,” he said in a statement on Tuesday (26/12/2023).
He said, it is evident from PBNU which has the Maslahat Nahdlatul Ulama Family Movement (GKMNU) program.
“Therefore, in line with that movement, we from PP Fatayat NU organized activities for Health Services for Pregnant Women and Toddlers and Training in Making Dish Soap,” he said.
At this time, he added, the party is in synergy with Prudential Sharia as a sponsor of this event, the output is clear, to check the health of pregnant women and toddlers and to increase women's resources in the field of creative economy in laundry soap making training.
“It is important for pregnant women to be regular in their pregnancy checks. Since it is a small form of stunting prevention, this activity of checking the health of pregnant women is free for the participants of this activity who attend this time. Because this is a form of real program that PP Fatayat NU created with direct evidence of plunging into contact with the community,” Kiki said.
He insists stunting should be detected early, even since in the womb. Fatayat today is a pioneer of activity, not least because in Fatayat itself, which includes women productive women throughout Indonesia, need to be equally careful and deeply involved in stunting.
She explained that the mothers or future mothers who attended this event, are all great women who will score Indonesia's golden generations, of course it all needs to be accompanied by mental health and economy.
Expectant mothers must be healthy both natively and innately, and non-pregnant mothers must be financially healthy.
“So, together today, we learn to maintain the health of pregnancy and learn how to make dish soap for women's economic independence,” she said.
She hopes that women today should have high marketability, have value in their lives. Due to the advancing times, women as the support of civilization need to improve their qualities.
As women as well as mothers to children and wives to husbands, she said, women today must be highly marketable in the sense of understanding all sectors of life, whether religious, educational, economic, etc., so that when they join families, they can mark the nation's successors as the golden generation for 2045.
“This is a small ikhtiar form of PP Fatayat NU so hopefully this can be accepted and felt its benefits for society,” he said.
The event was attended by about 150 participants from the surrounding community, women's and women's associations in Serang district and others.
