REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto will vote in the 2024 general election at a polling station (polling station) near his private residence in Hambalang, Bojongkoneng Village, Babakan Madang District, Bogor Regency, West Java on February 14, 2024.
Prabowo confirmed this when he was about to leave his private home on Kertanegara, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Thursday (25/1/2024). Prabowo from inside his car nodded twice while giving a thumbs up when Republika asked if he would vote in Hambalang.
Gerindra Party Secretary General Ahmad Muzani also confirmed that the general chairman would be elected in Hambalang. “God willing in Hambalang,” Muzani told reporters at the TKN Prabowo-Gibran Media Center in South Jakarta on Thursday.
Prabowo is also known to have voted at a polling station near Hambalang hill in the 2019 presidential election. The same goes for the 2014 presidential election. In the two presidential elections, Prabowo, who also became president, lost against Jokowi.
As for the 2024 presidential election this time, Prabowo has a chance to emerge victorious, even winning in one round. The electability of Prabowo and his vice president, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, is already above 45 percent, according to a number of recent surveys.
