REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Ministry of State Apparatus Management and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) revealed its plans to open school enrollment in March 2024. However, the timing may change according to the preparedness and dynamics that occur.

This was the result of the coordination meeting to accelerate the implementation of the admission selection of students/praws/cadets of the school in 2024. The meeting was chaired by Acting Deputy for Human Resources of APPARATUR Ministry of PANRB Aba Subagja.

PANRB Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas invited the nation's best girls to enroll in a cold school according to their interests. To that end, the prospective applicants are expected to be able to immediately prepare the necessary requirements documents for registration.

“The government has designed a scheme for this need and hopes that in the future we can generate ASN candidates who are dedicated, competent, and innovative in solving people's problems,” Anas said in a press statement on Thursday (25/1/2024).

There are eight agencies that will open enrollment in cold schools this year. The eight agencies are the Ministry of Law and Human Rights; the Ministry of Finance; the Ministry of Transportation; the Ministry of Interior; the State Intelligence Agency (BIN); the State Cyber and Encryption Agency (BSSN); the Central Statistical Agency (BPS); and the Bureau of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG).

The stages that must be passed range from registration, selection of basic competencies (SKD) using Computer Assisted Test (CAT), to advanced selection whose implementation is regulated by the individual cold school. The implementation of the Basic Competence Selection (SKD) is planned to be held in April to May 2024.

The implementation of the selection of the school in 2024 is guided by the PANRB Ministerial Regulation No. 20/2021 on the Selection of Admission of Students/Prers/Cadets of Kedinasan Schools at Ministries/Institutions. Aba Subagja explained that the registration was done through the website of the State Civil Apparatus Candidate Selection System (SSCASN-BKN), namely sscasn.bkn.go.id.

Aba also reminds potential applicants that all stages of school selection, from registration, implementation of selection with CAT, to determination of graduation, have been integrated and computerized. Selection stages like this close the loophole of cheating and touting practices.

“We always remind our friends all over Indonesia not to trust the parties that promise graduation in the selection of the school, especially until they ask for a certain amount of money. All selection mechanisms and systems are in place. So, be sure to be transparent and accountable,” Aba said.
