REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SERANG -- RI presidential candidate Anies Baswedan met with people, santri, clerics, and environmental fighters in Padarincang, Serang Regency, Tuesday (30/1/2024).
“I hear there is an environmental issue here. Therefore, we are here to change and solve environmental problems,” Anies said in Padarincang, Serang, Banten, on Tuesday.
Anies insists that this Republic of Indonesia is present for the people, not the conglomerates. Therefore, the Padarincang people are still surviving in this area for a change.
“We realized when we heard that in Padarincang there are many challenges, there are environmental problems. So, I insist that the Republic is present for the people, not the conglomerates,” he said.
Anies said that it was not the first time she visited Padarincang since 14 years ago, even coming to Ujung Kulon. However, in the Banten region many areas are still lagging behind so that schools and teachers are lacking.
“In fact, we can progress if there is education. I came there to deliver the teachers. The name of the program is Indonesia Teaching, 14 years ago. I tell them to everyone,” said this number one candidate.
When it comes to inequality, equality, and justice, according to Anies, he is not just a participant in the 2024 presidential election, but has been fighting for it since time immemorial. In fact, he was happy to meet the citizens of Banten.
In addition, Anies reiterated that it would expand jobs for all citizens as well as cheaper living costs, cheap rice prices, farmer fertilizer available, fisherman diesel available, and animal feed for ranchers available.
Previously, KPU RI has designated participants in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Election (Presidential Election), namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka sequence number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. sequence number 3.
The Commission has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, a quiet period on February 11—13, and a voting day on February 14, 2024.
