REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Secretary of the National Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud, Hasto Kristiyanto, said former general commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok had the same spirit as the couple candidate Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in putting forward ethics and politics.
In GBK, Jakarta on Saturday, Hasto said there was an ethics and political correctness movement spearheaded by Mahfud MD, by resigning from his post as coordinating minister for politics, law, and security (menko polhukam), because there is a responsibility not to use state facilities and to promote totality as a leader of the people.
“So, Mr. Ahok in the same spirit put forward ethics and politics in support of Ganjar and Mahfud,” Hasto said.
Mahfud MD's movement to prioritize ethics and uphold political correctness was followed by a movement from the college, which pushed for democracy to be saved from the sovereignty of the people.
Hasto said the movement of the civic academica in the Fatherland was a mirror of the power of truth and morality to prioritize knowledge and mastery of technology.
“When it comes to politics of conscience, the college has already conveyed its attitude, and this is followed by major colleges both public and private. This shows that Indonesian democracy faces serious problems,” explained Hasto.
The secretary-general of PDI Struggle said the number 3 candidate pair Ganjar-Mahfud was present to launch democracy from the people, by the people, and for the people.
Therefore, Hasto continued, the movement of this element of the college should not be underestimated because it would counteract various forms of bullying.
Meanwhile, based on Antara's observation at GBK on Saturday, Ahok came to the concert grand campaign “Salam Metal, Win Total” together with PDI Perjuangan General Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri.
The General Election Commission (KPU) of RI has designated three participants in the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD sequence number 3.
