According to him, the pair of Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar is the ideal candidate and vice president to be able to fight and win this year's presidential election by carrying the concept of change for better Indonesia in the future.

“This time we nominated our presidential candidate named Anies Baswedan, when there is a question why should Anies, then the answer can be said is that as Nasdem cadres we know we are struggling to improve people's living standards for the better,” he said.

According to Surya Paloh, Indonesia today needs a figure of the best of the good, not from the good to the bad. Therefore, Anies-Muhaimin became a worthy figure in leading Indonesia for the next five years.

“Nasdem has never used people's incompetence only for political gain. But what we want is change in this nation and country that we love. We will carry out a movement of change to denuclearize this country. Encouraging the Indonesian people, not just our words or rhetoric. But later we will prove it in the next five years,” Surya Paloh said.
