REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- RI Presidential candidate Prabwo Subianto asked his supporters to come to the polls (polling stations) and monitor the vote count until it is completed on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

“To the polling station, take care of the ballot, brother. Coblos then wait for it to finish. Wait for it to finish,” Prabowo said while giving a speech during the grand campaign in Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Jakarta, on Saturday (10/2/2024).

Prabowo said this was in anticipation of fraud in the counting of ballots at every polling station. The guarding of each polling station, he continued, should be in unison throughout the region. With such close watch, he is confident the results of the vote count will go smoothly and safely.

Not only that, he also called on his supporters to report in case of potential election violations on the ground. Based on the data of KPU RI, the permanent voter list (DPT) in the 2024 general election amounted to 204,807,222 voters.

Previously, the Election Commission (KPU) of RI has designated the participants in the 2024 Presidential and Vice-Presidential Election (Presidential Election), namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. sequence number 3.

The Commission has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, a quiet period on February 11-13, and a voting day on February 14, 2024.
