REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- BRI President Director Sunarso was named The Best CEO in Digital Brand 2024.
This award was given for the success of the transformation carried out by BRI so that the company became a company that provides very satisfying digital-based services to customers. BRI is also recognized as one of the best banking companies based on the results of public assessments and social media feedback on its digital-based banking products and services.
Sunarso revealed that the award was dedicated to all BRILians or BRI workers. He gave his highest appreciation to BRILian People for making optimal contributions to the company and providing the best service to customers.
He continued, BRI as the bank with the widest network in Indonesia is able to carry out transformation in a sustainable manner. Transformation is focused on two main aspects, namely digital and culture.
"We continue to create new value through digitalization to run the business model," Sunarso said.
As is known, banking services are currently provided through various digital financial products and services. BRI is also considered successful in responding to the needs and changes in digital transaction patterns of society.
This is proven, among other things, by records that during 2023, as many as 99 percent of total BRI transactions were carried out via digital channels. Meanwhile, the rest is carried out conventionally at BRI branches or work units. Digital transformation at BRI is able to provide digital banking services that are easy, practical, safe and comfortable.
Sunarso also added that in the future BRI will continue to innovate in developing digital services as part of its transformation journey.
"Digital transformation has helped to rapidly boost the banking industry, increase financial inclusion, and empower Ultra Micro, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises which is one of BRI's main focuses," he said.
