REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PEKANBARU -- Passenger increase at Sutan Syarif Kasim II Airport (SSK II) of Pekanbaru, continues to occur until H+6 Idulfitri 1445 Hijri. For Idulfitri this year, the air transport at Pekanbaru SSK II Airport both homecoming and returning reached 157,480 passengers.
As stated, EGM of SSK II Pekanbaru Airport, Radityo Ari Purwoko, on Thursday (18/4/2024). Ari said that the movement of aircraft at SSK II Pekanbaru Airport, until H+6 reached 1,199 aircraft movements.
“That number is up 20 percent compared to 2023. Where the number of passengers reached 131,199 passengers, and 1,062 aircraft movements, it was 13 percent,” Ari said.
Previously, he predicted the peak of the reverse flow to occur on Monday or Tuesday, turning out to be on Sunday (14/4/2024) or H+3. In which the number of passengers reached 13,751. He also predicts that on Monday (15/4/2024) the number of passengers will reach 14,000 people. However, the number of thesebut was not reached.
Based on the available data, the number of passengers on Monday or H+4 amounted to 13,035 people. Radityo explained, on the first day of entry into postflight work on Tuesday (16/4/2024) the number of passengers decreased, and rose again on Wednesday (17/4/2024).
He also predicts that the increase in passengers at SSK II Pekanbaru Airport will again increase on Saturday (20/4/224) or Sunday (21/4/2024).
“Whereas on Tuesday coinciding with the first working day of the postflight the number of passengers reached 9,289 passengers.
