REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BALI -- The Bali Police will deploy more than 5,000 personnel to secure the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) scheduled for May 18–25 in Bali.
"Bali Police are ready to secure the global forum with the National Armed Forces (TNI) and other stakeholders," said Police Inspector General Ida Bagus Kade Putra Narendra, Bali Police chief, during a coordination meeting for the 10th WWF in Nusa Dua, Bali, on Saturday.
He said that the WWF is a bigger event than the G20 Summit held in the province in 2022, so the National Police (Polri) and TNI will carry out optimal security measures.
Thousands of police officers will be deployed to ensure the security of 33 heads of state and the president of the European Union (EU) throughout a series of events for the forum.
