REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- SMK Bunda Kandung successfully organized the 58th class graduation ceremony with the theme 'We Start Together, We End Together'. This meaningful event was held in Gedung Balai Setia PP Polri, South Jakarta. The ceremony was attended by students, parents, teachers and a number of important invitees including the chairman of the school foundation, the head of PPKD South Jakarta and the board of trustees.

This graduation event is not only ceremonial, but an important moment to strengthen the collaboration between SMK Bunda Kandung and Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM) Margonda Campus, Depok.

The Digital Business Campus of Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), represented by Setiaji as a spokesperson, was present to provide motivation to the students regarding their future steps. Setiaji affirms that UNM as a Digital Business based college provides broad opportunities for the young, accomplished generation to pursue higher education.

“On this occasion, we encourage all students of SMK Bunda Bisi to continue pursuing dreams and ideals according to their interests and talents. UNM gives that opportunity, with a Lecture Scholarship to outstanding students,” said Setiaji, in a release received on Wednesday (22/5/2024).

Nusa Mandiri University grants scholarships to five outstanding students of SMK Bunda Bisi, namely Roni Firmansyah, Achmad Fauzi, Nabil, Dellana Nadira, and Jiddan Al Hafizh.

“Hopefully with this scholarship, the five outstanding students will get more excited in demanding science and achieving their goals,” said Setiaji.

The graduation activity was also filled with the signing of a charter of cooperation between Nusa Mandiri University and SMK Bunda Bisi. Principal of SMK Bunda Bisi, Rusli Rifa'i and Campus Head of Nusa Mandiri University (UNM) Margonda campus, Andry Maulana, represented each institution in the signing.

“We thank Nusa Mandiri University for providing great opportunities for outstanding students to continue demanding science and achieve a bright future,” Rusli said.

Rusli explained that graduates of SMK Bunda Bisi have strong vocational competencies, by continuing to attend college, they will be better prepared to compete in this digital age.

“After graduating from school, they have vocational competencies, coupled with college, students graduating from Bunda Bisi High School can survive in this digital age,” he said.
