REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BATAM -- The Government of Batam, Riau Islands inaugurated the reuse of the Batam Grand Mosque and opened to the public after revitalization.

The inauguration was held in conjunction with the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's Maulid held at the mosque on Sunday evening.

Batam Mayor Muhammad Rudi in Batam on Sunday said although the revitalization is not yet 100 percent complete, he is making sure to complete the remaining work immediately.

“It's been closed for too long. We first prioritize the main building, so that people can use for worship. Revitalization is not yet complete, but the infrastructure will continue to be gradually improved,” Rudi said.
