REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President-elect Prabowo Subianto began calling a number of his prospective ministers to a private residence on Jalan Kertanegara IV, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta (Jaksel), Monday (14/10/2024). Monitoring Republika.co.id on site from noon to evening, at least 30's political elites and figures have been facing Prabowo.

But in the summoning of the prospective members of the 2024-2029 government cabinet, Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka was not seen. Daily Chairman of DPP Gerindra Party, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, who co-delivered the ministerial candidate to meet Prabowo, admitted that the appointment of a number of people was projected to fill future cabinet posts.

“Yes. Yes. For which deputy minister it was Wednesday (16/10/2024),” Dasco told reporters at the Kertanegara House in Jaksel on Monday.

However, when asked if Prabowo had accompanied Gibran in talks with prospective ministers, Dasco avoided giving an answer. The deputy speaker of DPR RI instead said that the new Prabowo will bring Gibran's participation in the briefing of elected ministers on Tuesday (15/10/2024).

“Tomorrow (Tuesday) there is an agenda for the briefing of the minister in Hambalang. On the agenda of the elected vice president (Gibran) will be present there,” Dasco said.

From noon until early evening, at least 30 figures and elites of political parties (political parties) called Prabowo were observed. Dasco acknowledged that dozens of those summoned were prospective ministers who would help Prabowo in the upcoming government.

But, Dasco said, those summoned have yet to be determined whether they will actually be appointed ministers. “Some are certain, and some are still being considered,” Dasco said.

According to him, it was a sign of those who had been confirmed appointed as ministers by Prabowo, who came out to meet reporters with a happy face. “If it comes out with a bright face, thank God,” Dasco said. Out of at least 30 names called by Prabowo, there are a number of general chairmen of political parties.

Ketum's political parties are Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), Bahlil Lahadalia, Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, and Zulkifli Hasan. Some of the other names that were called were the successful teams of Prabowo's achievements. Several young professionals and politicians also attended. Including some female figures, and academics.
