REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Prabowo Subianto held a meeting with the chairmen general and secretary-general of the coalition political parties at the Merdeka Palace Complex, Central Jakarta, Friday (1/11/2024) at noon WIB. General Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan was one of the party chairmen seen arriving at the Presidential Palace Complex, around 12:45pm.

“The plan is to have lunch with the president,” Zulhas said when asked about his intention to meet President Prabowo at Jakarta's Free Palace.

In addition to himself and PAN Secretary General Eko Hendro Purnomo aka Eko Patrio, Zulkifli said, President Prabowo also invited Golkar Party Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia, Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) President Ahmad Syaikhu along with PKS Secretary General Aboe Bakar Al-Habsyi.

In addition, Nasdem Chairman Surya Paloh who arrived at around 12:50pm, Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar aka Cak Imin and Democratic Party Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) were also present.

Cak Imin said in a statement that there was a desire from the general chairmen of the coalition parties to hold regular meetings with President Prabowo. “We have a desire also for regular meetings between the general chairmen of the party and this is the first meeting,” he said.

Regarding whether today's meeting was also attended by representatives of the PDIP, Muhaimin admitted that he did not know about it. From the monitoring, those who came were the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Plus.
