REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Crown Prince of Norway, Haakon Magnus, visits Indonesia on November 25-29 to talk on bilateral partnership. Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will receive the prince in Merdeka Palace.
"The courtesy call includes discussion on regional and global issue as well as the environmental and forestry issue," Presidential Staff on International Relations, Teuku Faizasyah, said on press release on Sunday.
Apart from meeting SBY, Prince Magnus is expected to meet Secretary General of ASEAN Surin Pitsuwan and hold business forum 'Indonesia-Norway: Strategic Partnership in Business'. He will also visit Yogyakarta and meet Sultan Hamengku Buwono X.
During his visit in Yogyakarta, he will deliver general lecture entitled 'Nurturing Tolerance and The Need for Dialogue'.
Norway, one of European partners of Indonesia, records trade volume of 309 million USD with Indonesia in 2011. On the second quarter of 2012, the trade volume reaches 236 million USD.
