Abe and Yudhoyono agreed to:

- strengthen ties in political, economic, security areas.
- bolster strategic partnership.
Abe said:
- strengthening ties with Association of Southeast Asian countries will lead to peace and stability in the region.
- Japan commits to help Indonesia develop infrastructure.

Yudhoyono said:
