REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President of China, Xi Jinping said Indonesia was an important and strategic partner country for China. Relations of both countries have been going well and China wants to improve cooperation in all sectors.
"China has known Indonesia since long time ago and President Xi has ever visited this country several times, while he was serving as Governor of Fujian province. So, Indonesia is not a foreign country for the president," Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia, Liu Jianchao said recently in Jakarta.
President Xi plans to APEC summit in Bali in October 2013. He is expected to hold bilateral meeting with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Liu added that Indonesia-China cooperation areas are not only in land, sea and air, but also in space.
