REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, CHENNAI -- They may be all about 14 and 12 years of age respectively, but Shravan Kumaran and Sanjay Kumaran, CEO and co-founders of mobile application development firm GoDimensions have chalked out plans to make their young start-up 'bigger' as they look to seek 'dad-funding' to set up their first office.

The brothers, who first became popular two years ago for being probably India's youngest entrepreneurs, have so far been working from home. GoDimensions now has seven applications available in Apple's App Store, and three on Google's Android Play Store. The applications include three games, two educational applications and two lifestyle applications. These applications have got more than 40,000 downloads from over 48 countries.

“We have made GoDimensions big and now we want to make it bigger,” says younger of the two Sanjay, who is currently studying in class seventh and is the company's chief executive officer. “We want all of world's smartphones to have our apps,” he is quick to add.

Ever since they came into limelight with their first successful application, a game called Catch Me Cop, the two have received recognition and accolades from India and abroad. Among others, Shravan and Sanjay consider their address at SAP Tech University event as their biggest moment. The two spoke about entrepreneurship in front of over 7,000 students at this event.

While many start-up ventures toil to source funding, GoDimensions has received interest from various investors, but “we told them, thank you, we are not interested,” says Shravan, who is currently a student of ninth standard.

There is a offended look on their faces when asked if they would want to join large information technology (IT) companies such as Infosys or Wipro when they grow up. “May be you should ask people if they want to join GoDimensions, why will we join other companies?,” replies Shravan sternly.

Coding, which is hard for even adult minds to crack is fun for them, but they have not lost focus on running a profitable business. While Sanjay proudly claims that GoDimensions has made $600 (around Rs 37,600) so far, he is quick to add that that's just the price of one equipment they need. So to further make money and expand, GoDimensions is now looking at working on outsourced applications development projects.

“People keep sending us emails saying you develop application for me and I'll give you so much money. So far we were not looking at it, but now we are planning to entertain such ideas because we want to expand,” says Shravan. “We want to make our own office and sit there and programme.”

GoDimensions is currently working on a new application called 'GoApp', through which the Kumaran siblings want people across the world to know more about them. The application will mainly be about GoDimensions and explain Shravan and Sanjay's works and achievements. The young programmers will also now focus on developing more gaming applications, as they believe that games are more popular among users.

In the future, Shravan and Sanjay plan to make GoDimensions a larger player in the mobile applications space and hope one day the company will be listed on Indian stock exchanges.
