REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marty Natalegawa asked all parties to respect the principles and integrity of Ukraine. There are basic principles of relations between nations that must be upheld by other countries.
"Indonesia's position in facing Ukraine situation is same as our position to other countries. We respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity as basic relation between nations," Natalegawa said on Tuesday as reported by Esthi Maharani.
He asked all parties to prioritize the handling of crisis in Ukraine through peaceful way and respecting international law. He also reminded the United Nation (UN) Security Council to maintain peace and international security. Indonesian continues to monitor development in Ukraine. There is instability in the country and potential to become worse.
