REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TEHRAN - IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano arrived in Tehran on Saturday evening to discuss continuation of cooperation between the two sides. This is the second visit of IAEA Director General to Tehran since the coming to power of the eleventh government in Iran.

During his stay, Amano will confer with Iranian officials on expansion of cooperation between IAEA and Iran. Amano is to confer with President Hassan Rouhani, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Deputy Foreign Minister and Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi on promotion of cooperation between the two sides. Iran was ready to host an extraordinary meeting of the UNEA, Ebtekar added.
