REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, LONDON -- Prince Harry revealed his secret of feeling nervous when speaking in public on the World AIDS Day on Monday to reduce stigma of HIV. Through a one minute video, the 30-year-old prince share his little secret that he would get nervous when speaking in public and feel uneasy when people looking at him.

It was a part of a campaign of Sentebale, a charity he co-founded with Prince Seeiso of the Lesotho in 2006. The campaign Feel No Shame is to help reduce shame and stigma and encourage people with HIV to seek medical support and prevent the virus from spreading.

"Believe it or not, I get incredibly nervous before public speaking no matter how big the crowd or the audience. Despite the fact I laugh and joke all the time, I get incredibly nervous, if not anxious actually, before going into rooms full of people when I am wearing a suit," he said.

"Now I have confessed that, I will probably be even more worried people are looking at me," he added.

In another video the prince said HIV was the second highest cause of death amongst those aged between 10-19 years old, and it was the number one cause of death across Africa.

"One tragic issue in particular is the shame and stigma linked to HIV. This causes thousands of children to needlessly die each year because they're keeping their illness a secret and not getting the medical attention they need," he said.

"Together, we can tackle the stigma surrounding HIV and give the young people carrying it the childhood they deserve. The childhood so many of us take for granted," he said.
