Israel arrests six Palestinians in West Bank

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, WEST BANK -- Israeli forces arrested six Palestinians early Tuesday and late Monday in various areas of the West bank, and Jerusalem according to WAFA correspondent and security sources.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces arrested Mohammad Khateeb this morning, while was leaving the Al-Aqsa Mosque and took him a detention center in the city.

Sources said Israeli police continues to collect and withhold worshipers identity cards upon their entry to Compound.

Israeli forces arrested Aida Disi, and Sana' Dweik while they were leaving al-Aqsa Mosque and were taken to an investigation center in the city, according to witnesses.

In the same context, the Israeli Court in Jerusalem Monday sentenced Mohammad Nimri, 16-year-old to 16 months in jail and a fine of 15,000 Shekels, after being convicted of participating in several activities deemed illegal in Jerusalem.

According to the head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, Nimri has been under house arrest for the past 13 months.

Meanwhile Israeli forces arrested three Palestinians in Hebron, south of the West Bank.

According to security sources, forces arrested Abed al-Mu'te Abu Asab after raiding and searching his house, Tuesday morning.

Several hours earlier, Ahmad Khalayleh and Ma'moun Khalayleh from al-Samou', south of Hebron, were arrested after being summoned by Israeli intelligence.
