Five Indonesian enterprises showcase products at Poland show

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Five Indonesian state-owned enterprises engaged in the defense industry and high technology sector have participated in the Balt Military Expo 2016 in Gdansk, Poland, to explore export markets and cooperation with European countries.

A press statement from the State-owned Enterprises Ministry received by Antara here on Tuesday revealed that the event was held on June 20-22, 2016.

The state-owned enterprises that participated in the fair were shipyard company PT Pal Indonesia, aerospace company PT Dirgantara Indonesia, military and commercial products manufacturer PT Pindad, explosives manufacturer PT Dahana, and electronics company PT Len Industri.

The Indonesian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of State-owned Enterprises for Mining, Strategic Industries, and Media F. Harry Sampurno.

"The organizer focuses on maritime safety and security systems, the latest defense systems, and sea and land rescue equipment," he noted.

According to Sampurno, the five national enterprises used the event to introduce their products and to explore potential markets and cooperation with other industries around the world.

PT Dirgantara Indonesia featured its three leading products, including N219 aircraft, as well as aircraft services and aerostructure products.

Meanwhile, PT Pal promoted the Fast Attack Missile Ship - 60 M and Strategic Sea Lift Vessel - 123 M.

PT Pindad introduced its 6x6 armor and Komodo 4x4 vehicles, assault rifle SS2, G2 Small and Large Caliber Pistols, and Air Bomb.

PT Len Industri showcased the Combat Management System integrated with warships, Tactical Data Link, as well as HF and VHF communication radio, which is the first integrated secure system in Indonesia.
