REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BATAM -- The Riau Islands governor Muhammad Sani has claimed proud of harmony among the religious adherents as it was proved by the absence of conflict and the success of the religious events some time ago.
"The implementation of the national level Quran Reading Contest (MTQ) in Batam city which was proved by the absence of conflict some time ago, marking the success of the religious events," Sani said after inaugurating the official House HKBP church here on Sunday.
The governor also expressed hope the community in the province can continue maintaining the harmony among the religious followers.
Prior to inaugurating the official House HKBP church, Sani inaugurated the use of the Al Fauzan great mosque.
