REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Humanitarian organization, Indonesian Red Crescent (BSMI), emphasizes its stance to support Palestine by sending a team to attend Global March to Jerusalem (GMJ). The team heading to Amman, Jordan, from Jakarta on the next Tuesday includes the Chairman of BSMI Muhammad Djazuli Ambari and a member of BSMI, Khoiron.

“The solidarity act will be attended by thousand participants from all over the world,” Dr Basuki Supartono of Indonesian Red Crescent, said on Wednesday.

The movement, aimed to increase the awareness of the threats to Jerusalem and Palestine, has attracted many attentions from ranging parties. “It’s time to stop all Zionist defamation over Masjid al-Quds. How could feudalism appear in this modern era?” Ambari said.

On March 30, GMJ will be assembled in Amman to hold theatrical act in Palestine border blockaded by Israel. GMJ will try to enter Gaza. “The act is a psychological pressure for Israel to stop violence and colonialism in Palestine,” Ambari said.

BSMI also sends medical devices and ambulance. On 2009, BSMI developed aid program to Palestine by giving medical scholarship. Palestine government responded by sending 10 candidates every year.
