REPUBLIKA CO.ID., JINAN - Indonesian National Army and China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) hold the second joint anti-terror military exercise to strengthen the military relationship between both countries. The exercise is also expected to increase the ability and professionalism of anti-terror special troops.
The opening of the exercise -code name “Knife Sharp 2012”- was conducted in Jinan Military Region in Shandong, China on Tuesday. The troops joining on the exercise are also expected to share their experience with each other.
The Attaché of Defense in the Indonesia's Embassy to China, Col. Lek Surya Margono said the exercise could build the coordination between Indonesia and PLA on the countermeasure against terrorism. The first joint military exercise held in Batujajar, Indonesia on 2011.
