REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - A delegation of companies from the UK is visiting Indonesia from 11 to 14 September 2012 to explore the prospects for developing partnerships with state-owned and private companies in Indonesia’s power and energy sectors. The delegation is led by Ali Sherwani, Head of Business Development at UK Export Finance, the UK government’s export credit agency.
“UK companies recognise the size and strength of the Indonesian economy and are very keen to develop long-term, productive and collaborative partnerships with their Indonesian counterparts,” Sherwani said in a press release from British Embassy in Jakarta.
The UK is already one of the leading investors in Indonesia, with many our world-class companies represented here. This delegation has an important role to play in strengthening and deepening our already robust bilateral trade and investment relationships.
