REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SITTWE – Government of Myanmar permits an Indonesian Non Governmental Organization, Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT), to build shelter for Rohingya in Myanmar. The government accompanied ACT to visit the planned shelter’s location on Wednesday.

The Team Head of ACT, Doddy Hidayat Putra, said the shelter would be built in Se Tha Ma Gyi, about half hour from Sittwe on vehicles. "The location is inhabited with Muslim," he said as reported by Maman Sudiaman from Republika

The permit was issued the earlier day, as the local government of Sittwe allowed ACT to build permanent shelter in the location. "We do not know the time limit for the permanent shelter. Myanmar Government has not confirmed it," Doddy said.
