REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, YOGYAKARTA - Minister of State-owned Companies, Dahlan Iskan, is optimistic that Indonesia could become developed country in the next 15 years. "15 years is not a long time," he said on Wednesday in Yogyakarta.

His prediction came out from the projection of Indonesian economic development in the last 15 years. He explained that 15 years ago the income per capita of Indonesian people was 100 USD. It is jumping sharply today to 3,500 USD.

"If the income is projected to 15 years later, it is possible that the income will reach 10,000 USD," he said.
