They were found guilty for causing the death of Malaysian citizen who tried to rob them, Kharti Raja. Two Indonesian are identified as Frans Hiu (22) and Dharry Frully Hiu (20) from Pontianak in West Kalimantan.

Kharti Raja was breaking and entering Hiu's house through the roof on December 3, 2012. He planned to rob their house while Hiu’s brothers were sleeping in their house when Raja entered their house. Frans tried to catch Raja, while Dharry, afraid of Raja, was running.

Hiu’s brothers appeal to the court of appeal because they are not guilty for causing the death of Raja. After fighting for a while, Frans successfully arrested Raja.
