Nigerian buyers dominate Indonesian Trade Expo

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - On the third days of Indonesian Trade Expo 2012, the Ministry of Trade says Nigerian buyers are dominating the transaction. Nigerians outnumbers Vietnamese (1,9 percent), Filipinos (1,18 percent), Algerians (0,36 percent) dan Turkish (0,36 percent).

"Nigeria sits on number one with 14.15 percent of total transaction volume," Director General of National Export Development at the Ministry of Trade, Gusmardi Bustami, said on Saturday.

He explained that the transaction had reached 106 million USD. About 80 percent or 83.9 million USD is from service sector. About 22.5 million USD is goods transaction. Automotive products are the highest demand followed by materials, furniture, leather goods, and information technology.
