REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian state electricity firm, PLN, gets 2 billion yen loan from Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) to finance three infrastructure projects in business district of Jakarta. The loan carries interest of 2 percent with tenor of 12 years.

President Director of PLN, Nur Pamudji, said on the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Indonesian Government and JBIC that the loan would be withdrawn next year. Japan wins the bid against Europe and South Korea. "Japan is very loyal on giving loan to the building of Indonesian infrastructure," he said.
