REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz assembles one of its series, M-Class, in Indonesia. It showed that Indonesian investment climate was conducive for the company growth, CEO Mercedes-Benz, Calus Weidner, said.
"The local assembling of ML-350 proves Indonesia is potential market for Mercedes-Benz," Weidner said on Wednesday in the press release.
The assembling reflects local talent. He said that Indonesian people were able to assemble the spare parts with precision. They have been trained by several experts from German and US. "We also build infrastructure with new production step and technology," he said.
The company commitment, he added, was to grow together with Indonesian people. The expansion of Mercedes-Benz is in line with Indonesia economic growth. "We hope this initiative is good news for the stake holders of our company," he said.
