REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - A Singapore-based private equity fund management firm, Ancora Capital Management, states that global crisis has boosted investment in Indonesia as the crisis barely affects Indonesia. Indonesian economy is dominated by domestic consumption, the co-founder and Managing Director of Ancora Capital Management, Veronica Lukito, said.

"The declining of export does not affect significantly to Indonesian economic stability," she said on Tuesday during Private Equity and Venture Forum Indonesia 2013.

However, financial crisis in US and Europe gives an impact to exchange rate in several developing countries like Indonesia. Meanwhile, the development of Europe and US only give additional liquidity towards capital market.

Lukito said Indonesian economic condition would still grow and attract investors despite political condition in the upcoming 2014 General Election. "We are relatively stable compared to other countries. With the political condition in 2014, we are pro-growth," she said.
