REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian government shared its microfinance knowledge to Palestinians especially on management of small and medium enterprises (SME), Director of Technical Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Siti Nugraha Mauludiahn said on Tuesday.
The first training was held on April 12-15 in Amman, Jordania. "It will continue to support capacity building in various area of the country," Mauludiah said.
The program is organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI). Originally, it should be held in Ramallah, Palestine but as Indonesian government had some difficulties of getting permission to enter Palestine, then the training shifted to Amman, Jordan.
The training followed by 30 Palestinians with different background from staff at the Ministry of Finance, Central Bank of Palestine, institutions to members of SME group who came from Gaza, West Bank and Amman.
