REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The import regulation halts Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, HTC, to introduce its new product called HTC One.
"We have been starting the process and we will try to release the product this quarter," Country Manager of HTC Indonesia, Budi Janto said on Saturday.
HTC planned to introduce the high end product to Indonesian market by collaborating with Indonesian provider, Indosat, and Trikomsel as its distributor. But it is not clear yet when the product can be released here and how much it cost. Earlier, HTC has been released in several countries in Asia, such as Malaysia and China.
