Indonesian coffee introduced at 'London Coffee Festival'

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, LONDON - Indonesian coffee beans were introduced at 'London Cofee Festival' on April 25-28 in London, UK. Many visitors seemed interested and potential buyers were enthusiastic to take some coffee samples. Indonesian Embassy in London and national coffee producers collaborated to introduce the taste of Gayo cofee from Aceh, Limtong of Sumatra, Toraja coffee of Sulawesi, Java Preanger, Kintamani coffee of Bali and Luwak coffee (civet coffee). 

Commercial Attache at Indonesian Embassy in London, Merry Maryati said that Indonesian embassy involved some coffee producers, such as Kopi Kamu, Wahana Pronatural, Coffindo, and Bandar Kopi.

"They also presented the Bajawa coffee of Flores and Baliem coffee of Papua, as well as several types of Robusta and Arabica coffee," Maryati said on Tuesday. She expected that Indonesia could increase the coffee export to UK.
