Malaysian palm oil company to invest 900 billion IDR in Indonesia

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Malaysian palm oil company, Sawipac Sdn Bhd will invest as much as 300 million RM or 900 billion IDR to build an integrated palm oil processing in Riau, Indonesia. Managing Director of Sawipac, Neo Teck Siong said that the refinery complex would be built in two phases. 

"The first phase of the factory will be built with a capacity palm oil of 60 metric tons per hour,” Neo Teck Siong said on Saturday. While refineries, fertilizer plants and fuel power plants will be built in the second phase, combine with biomass fuels.

Sawipac which was founded in 1996 provided palm oil refinery with a sophisticated technology, research and development, consultancy and support facilities. In March, the company has signed a memorandum of uderstanding with the government of Kampar district in Riau.
