Sixteen artists of Gianyar Bali to perform in Kagura Festival of Japan

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, GIANYAR - Sixteen artists from Gianyar regency, Bali will perform in Spiritual Festival of Kagura in Hiroshima, Japan on October 31 to November 6, 2013. Regent of Gianyar, Anak Agung Gde Agung Bharata said this festival would be attended by 15 countries, including Indonesia which will be represented by artists from Gianyar as City of Arts.

"We will feature fusion of arts, cultural and spiritual," Bharata said recently.

Combination of arts, culture, and spiritual will be packed in Legong Dance, Baris Gede Dance, Legong Sang Hyang Dance and Lemah Tok Puppet. Bharata said his team had prepared the performance since last July. It is the first opportunity to participate in international arena.
