REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA--Following up the Konga XXXII-A and XXXII-B mision, Indonesia would send another contingent consisted of 167 Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) personnels to Haiti immediatly.
The soldiers, led bt Czi Alfius Navirinda K, were members of Garuda Contingents (Konga) XXXII-C serving under the UN’s Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH)
Commander of Peacekeeping Mission Center (PMPP), Brig Gen AM Putranto expressed his confidence on his men and the departure plan.
"Currently, all soldiers have sufficient knowledge and ability to be assigned as peacekeepers, particularly in Minustah mission in Haiti. They are also ready to continue mission of Konga XXXII-B/Minustah," Putranto said recently.
The contingent comprises 141 army soldiers, 18 navy personnels and five airmen.
