REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesias trade deficit from January to November 2013 reached 5.6 billion USD, caused by oil/gas trade deficit pressure worth 11.8 billion USD, Minister of Trade Gita Wirjawan said.
"Cumulatively the deficit from January to November 2013 reached 5.6 billion USD," Wirjawan noted at a press conference on Friday.
He added that the deficit in the oil and gas trade until November 2013 had reached 11.8 billion USD pressuring non-oil/gas trade surplus which stood at 6.2 billion USD.
He said that trend of economic growth in the developed countries being quite high, so export was expected to increase Wirjawan added that oil imports always caused a deficit on the trade balance reaching 1 billion USD per month.
