BNI Syariah increases its productive financing

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Syariah increased its retail financing, especially in productive sector up to 60 percent this year. Company set the retail consumer financing at level of 40 percent.

Director of Business in BNI Syariah, Imam T Saptono said that company's current retail financing reached 80 percent, compared to 20 percent or 10 billion IDR of corporate financing.

Current productive financing reached 45 percent compared to 55 percent of consumptive financing. Therefore, company plans to increase its portion to 60 percent by 2016.

BNI Syariah plans to increase small and medium enterprises (SMEs) financing more than 30 percent, while mortgage or housing financing would be reduced from 40 percent to 20 percent this year.

BNI Syariah assets stood at 14.7 trillion IDR in the end of 2013, while third party funds grew to 11.9 trillion IDR and financing to 11.3 trillion IDR. Company recorded a profit of 113 billion IDR.
