REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Fisheries' micro loan reached 809.7 billion IDR per December 2013 disbursed to 10,130 debtors with average loan of 79.940 million IDR per debtor.
Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister, Sharif Cicip Sutardjo said that the government-sponsored micro loans came from 24 banks consisted of five state owned banks and 19 regional development banks (BPD).
Fisheries' credit accounted for 0.59 percent of total micro loan portofolio with value of 138.5 trillion IDR, while the debtor is 0.10 percent of 10,032,178 total national debtors.
"Number of outstanding loans increased 14.35 percent compared to 2012. Number of debtors also increased 52.47 percent from 3.486 debtors to 10,130 debtors," Sutardjo said on Thursday as reported by Rr Laeny Sulistyawati.
Credit fisheries accounted for 0.59 percent of the national total loan portfolio valued at Rp 138.5 trillion, while the debtor is 0.10 percent of the national total of 10,032,178 debtors.
An increase in number of loans and debtors is in line with the increase number of participating banks, from 19 banks in 2012 to 24 banks in 2013.
