REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SEMARANG -- A number of property developers expect the increasing property price as an impact of fuel price increase.

According to Chairman of Association of Real Estate Companies (REI) in Semarang MR Priyanto, the fuel price increase and property price will increase simultaneously 10 percent. Yet, the prospect has driven the increasing house sale at REI Exhibition a few days ago.

"At the exhibition for example, we sold 87 units of houses and apartments, compared to 50 units in 2013," Priyanto said on Monday.

Houses and apartment sales increased as people started to realize the possibility of property price increase next year.

Meanwhle, General Manager of Candiland Apartment in Semarang, Agus Sudrajat estimated that property price would increase up to 20 percent next year.
