REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Former Executive Director of Semen Indonesia, Dwi Sutjipto, is named as Executive Director of Pertamina. Sutjipto replaces Karen Agustiawan who resigned from Pertamina in October.
"It is a revitalization of oil and gas state-owned enterprise," Minister of State-owned Enterprises Rini Soemarno commenting on Sutjipto's appointment on Friday, November 28.
Government also appoints three directors to manage Pertamina. Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said said the new team was expected to invigorate Pertamina. Earlier, government shortlisted three names to head Pertamina. They are Executive Director of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk (BRI) Sofyan Basir, Executive Director of Semen Indonesia Dwi Soetjipto and Executive Director of General Electric (GE) Indonesia Handry Satriago.
